Joy is my favorite thing to photograph & photography itself is what brought me to it.
I lost my mother when I was three years old. What I have left of her fits in one hand: a small collection of photographs I've spent a lifetime treasuring. I study them. I return to them. I cannot imagine who I would be without them.
I have children of my own now, and what they remember from their younger years came from photos... like the Disney World trip we spent thousands of dollars on to make magical - thank goodness (for all of us) we have a few snaps of that week to help them remember (as I laugh / cry).
Images mean different things to different people at different stages of life. A photograph that feels ordinary today may become someone's most treasured possession tomorrow. I don't take that lightly and because of that, I will treat yours with the most care.

How it started
I came to photography looking connections... The work started as volunteer work with the Savannah Morning News - Spotted Photographer.
As a recent grad and fresh off a corporate leadership program for HR, I started my new assignment in an unfamiliar city. Volunteering as a Spotted Photographer was how I got to go to free parties (yay), meet new people (fun), eat free snacks (or fancy dinners), and as luck would have it - a couple of my photos were "published!"
My love for photography, the hobby, and the challenge of learning a new skill kept growing and the rest is history!
